WHEN DO I GET INFORMATION ABOUT MY HOST FAMILY?v
After we receive your homestay application form and payment for homestay we will send you information recommending a family which we feel will be a good match for you.
HOW DO I KNOW WHICH IS THE BEST ENGLISH OR FRENCH PROGRAM FOR ME?
We recognize that each student has different goals and objectives; we are experienced in recognizing the needs of each student and are able to recommend suitable programs for them. We know the education institutions that we work with extremely well and we also have the advantage of being located in Vancouver for anything the student may need during their stay in Canada.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T LIKE THE FAMILY?
If any problems develop at any time during your homestay please let us know as soon as possible so we can remedy the problem. If the problem cannot be solved, we can introduce you to another homestay family.
WHAT COMES IN A FURNISHED APARTMENT?
The furnished apartments come with everything you need, kitchen utensils, fridge, stove, microwave, TV, DVD, bed, dining table and more. In most cases you only have to bring your suitcase.
DO I PAY A DAMAGE DEPOSIT IF I STAY IN A FURNISHED APARTMENT?
You must pay a damage deposit when you take the apartment. It is usually half of the monthly rent, this damage deposit is returned to the student at the end of the rental agreement if the apartment is in the same condition as it was when it was rented. The furnished apartments are in excellent condition, they are inspected by our agency before you move in.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ENGLISH LEVEL IS HIGH ENOUGH FOR A PARTICULAR COURSE?
You will take a placement test on your first day of school. It will determine your specific levels for grammar and conversation.
